My wife and I just got back from vacation in Las Vegas. We were more than blessed to be provided plane and show tickets as gifts, as well as a free place to stay with some of our family (thank you again Mel, Trista, and Sonja!). Vegas is a place like no other, and if you’ve been there you know what I’m talking about. I absolutely love the glitz and the glam, the high rollers, the architecture, the fame, and all the shows. Vegas is a pure example of excellence in the art of experience. So much to learn from such as technical excellence in the shows, unbelievable signage and communication, architectural planning and bringing it all together for the overall experience. The feeling you get when you walk into places like the Bellagio or the Venetian is too surreal to explain.
On our last night there, my wife and I watched the Bellagio Fountains, a Las Vegas classic must see. Unless you have been and seen the fountains, this video will not do it justice. I was only able to capture the middle 1/3rd of all the fountains, but the atmosphere of the Las Vegas strip (the hustle and bustle, bright flashy lights) fades away with the beauty and simplicity of the Bellagio Fountains. Fitting enough, the song is entitled, “Time To Say Goodbye (Con Te Partiro)”. A perfect ending to an awesome vacation. See the video below that I took (it’s a tiny bit shaky at the beginning, I was trying to watch and film at the same time… haha). The ending was breathtaking.
