Sometimes You Need a Generic Video

Throughout the hustle and bustle of working at a Church with lots of different ministries, it’s easy to get lost in doing tons of specific videos. Meaning, it’s easy to do a video about a kids ministry event, then a students ministry event, then a worship ministry event, then an outreach event, and the list goes on. We found that most of the videos we were doing had a hard end date, and then after the event occurred, we couldn’t use it any more. A lot of times, we found ourselves just needing some generic videos about our Church to show at various events, Sunday mornings, on the website, etc. When you take the time to create a few generic videos, we found that puts media in our arsenal for times that we don’t have a specific video or motion graphic. When our pastor has people that are curious about our Church, we have a great looking video that represents what we do to help those around the world. This is just one example of a generic video we made – it’s simple, it didn’t take long to make, but it has a been a easy to go to video in a crunch.

Production Team Recruitment Video

I was able to grab, what I like to call, “prime real estate”. Meaning, I was able to secure a spot in the 5 before (the video we play before each service) for our beloved production team. We have some big plans in store for our production team and we are looking for a few more people to accomplish these plans. Long story short, here’s a quick production team promo video. Enjoy!

Stay Connected Animation

Just a simple animation made for Northwood Church. This animation runs in the pre-service videos that welcome people into room and keep them informed with what is going on around the church.

Freedom Experience with Building 429, The Afters, and Rapture Ruckus

We had a fantastic time this last week at Northwood Church. We hosted a three day concert series featuring The Afters, Building 429, and Rapture Ruckus. The opening acts were great as well with Tim Byrne, Dennis Rogers, CZ, and Living Illusions. The acts also went into the local schools and hosted 20 assemblies (talking about bullying, drugs, etc). We got to host more than 10,000 kids in their schools! Here are a few pictures highlighting the event. Our production team volunteers did an UNBELIEVABLE job and gave it their all. I couldn’t be more proud to be apart of a team with our volunteers! I’m also posting a video that we are showing on Sunday morning to thank all of our volunteers that made the week possible.
